Chicago Engineers' Foundation volunteers provide engineering presentations to students considering a career in engineering. Volunteers include professional engineers, CEF Alumni, and Union League Club members who generously donate their time and talents to inspire the next generation of engineers.
Presentations take place at Chicago schools and organizations, and opportunities are available both during and after the school day. Volunteers facilitate student group presentations, speak at career fairs, and support other youth-oriented engineering activities.
CEF volunteers work for a variety of firms and companies, such as Amtrak, Illinois Tool Works, TranSystems Corporation, Presence Health, Jacobs Engineering, federal and state agencies, and intellectual property law firms. Their engineering disciplines include Computer, Mechanical, Biomedical, Software, Transportation, Chemical and Electrical Engineering, among many others.
As a volunteer, you can help CEF excite and encourage tomorrow’s engineers.
