Each year volunteers participate in more than 50 different activities around the area; helping at STEM events, participating in career fairs, visiting classrooms to talk to students about engineering, and serving as student mentors. In the last academic year, Chicago Engineers’ Foundation impacted more than 1,600 K-12 students thanks to our amazing volunteers!
No experience is necessary, and training/resources are provided to each volunteer.

REACH STEM Sciences Fair
Tuesday, April 14th at Malcolm X College in Chicago (two sessions 10am to 11:30am and 12pm to 2pm)
The STEM Exploration Fair aims to provide students in grades 4th-11th with hands-on experiences with interactive, hands-on activities related to STEM and health sciences. Showcase your company’s commitment to STEM education and engage directly with students, educators, and families. This event provides an excellent platform for networking, brand visibility, and community engagement.

Chicago Public Schools Pre-Engineering Classroom Presentations
Various Days and Times in April (select the option that works for your calendar)
The high school pre-engineering classrooms at specific Chicago Public Schools are seeing in-person speakers to talk about their engineering careers. Spend a class period speaking with students about your educational and career pathway. A slide deck and speaker’s talking points are available to create your presentation and no experience is necessary to participate. STEM Expo
Saturday, May 30th 9am to 1pm in Chicago
Host a career table at this inaugural student-focused event hosted by Pinpoint Scholars Foundation that will feature hands-on activities, a STEM career expo, panel discussions and more to inspire Chicago students to learn about and pursue engineering careers.
