Celebrate National Engineers Week 2024
Happy #NationalEngineersWeek!
Founded by the National Society of Professional Engineers in 1951, National Engineers Week is dedicated to ensuring a diverse and well-educated future engineering workforce by increasing understanding of and interest in engineering and technology careers. The purpose of National Engineers Week is to call attention to the contributions engineers make to society, and to emphasize the importance of learning math, science, and technical skills.
This year’s theme “Welcome to the Future” is about celebrating today’s achievements and paving the way for a brighter and more diverse future in engineering.
Chicago Engineers’ Foundation will celebrate #E-Week2024 in Chicago with the annual Engineering Focus luncheon, volunteer activities across the city, a Student/Professional Networking event, and at this year’s Washington Award event.
Stay tuned for updates, and get out there and celebrate the past, present, and future of engineering in Chicago!
