Thank you to the sponsors and guests who attended Engineering Focus

More than 130 guests joined Chicago Engineers Foundation (CEF) for the first Engineering Focus luncheon on February 17, 2020 at the Union League Club of Chicago.  Engineering Focus was a kickoff to National Engineers Week in Chicago.

M. Michelle Blaise, Senior Vice President of Technical Services at ComEd served as the keynote speaker.  Ms. Blaise spoke about the importance of diversity in widening the vision of the engineering sector.  Michelle Blaise shared with the audience that their work is a reflection of their own priorities. She further stated that we cannot produce innovative, effective solutions to the ever-more-complex engineering challenges we are facing as a society, unless we bring more diverse perspectives to the table and ask better questions about the broader impact of our work on communities.
