CEF Celebrates National Engineers Week 2019

CEF volunteers visited Chicago high school students and took part in other events during National Engineers Week 2019.

E-Week (Feb 17-23, 2019) celebrates engineering, with a variety of opportunities to engage engineering professionals and inspire the next generation problem-solvers and innovators.   CEF volunteers participated in a Chicago Public Schools scholarship event, and took part in the Chicago Architecture Center’s Engineering Fest.  In addition, CEF partnered with the Society of Women Engineers-Chicago, and Union League Club of Chicago for a reception, Celebrating Engineering in Chicago, on February 21st to introduce Chicago area engineers to the three partnering organizations.

While National Engineers Week has come to an end, CEF continues to celebrate all things engineering throughout the year and encourages engineers to get involved.  To volunteer with CEF contact us at [email protected].
