CEF Hosts Annual Engineering Focus Luncheon
On February 22, 2022, Chicago Engineers Foundation presented the third annual Engineering Focus Luncheon to kickoff National Engineers Week in Chicago.
Engineering Focus is the annual kick-off to National Engineers Week in Chicago. This year’s luncheon at the Union League Club of Chicago was an exciting opportunity for professionals, educators, and students to be inspired and celebrate the future of engineering.
Chicago Engineers Foundation President Rebecca Wingate welcomed more than 80 guests to the event, the organization’s first in-person gathering since February 2020. The focus of this year’s event was the present and future of public sector engineering in Chicago.

- Learn how the public sector is evolving and legacy projects benefiting neighborhoods across Chicago.
- Hear first-hand experiences and strategies to encourage students to look towards careers in public sector engineering.
- Celebrate the future of engineering!
