CEF Presents Sock Hop Chicago Event

On Friday, April 26th guests joined Chicago Engineers’ Foundation (CEF) for Sock Hop Chicago, an evening of fabulous 1950’s fun.

The Union League Club of Chicago‘s President’s Hall was transformed into a 1950’s inspired dance with live music from Nick Falco & the Road Hawks and a lively dance floor with dance instruction provided by Traffic Jam Swing.

A hula hoop contest, limbo competition, trivia, and even a bubble gum blowing station kept guests in the 50’s spirit all evening long.   The ULCC culinary team delighted guests with 1950’s inspired bites and specialty cocktails.

Guests were encouraged to dress to impress in their 50’s best, and did not disappoint with an incredible mix of poodle skirts, 50’s formal, and even Grease-inspired fashions.

Special thanks go to so many who make Sock Hop Chicago an amazing experience.  Thank you to event chair Madison Knobloch, the host committee, and Executive Director Debbie Birrell for creating this fundraising evening.

Thank you to the event sponsors for your generous support of this event.

Many thanks to the auction donors for sharing outstanding packages for this year’s premium auction.
