Fun and Games at Casino Night 2017

More than 100 CEF supporters gathered at ULCC on March 9 for Casino Night 2017, the organization’s signature fundraising event.  This year’s theme, Brazilian Carnival, was a festive celebration and fundraiser benefiting CEF’s scholarship awards for aspiring engineers.  The evening featured casino table games, a silent auction, 50/50 raffle, wine grab, and an amazing buffet of Brazilian-inspired foods.  The Clemente High School Steel Drum Band added to the festive atmosphere with a fun, live performance.

The leadership of the Engineers’ Foundation wishes to thank all of the attendees, volunteers, sponsors and donors for making this event a tremendous success.  Special acknowledgment to everyone at ULCC, the Women’s Roundtable, and Field and Stream Group.  In addition, many individuals and companies contributed to the event.  Thank you to A.M. Feldman Jewelers, Cavanaugh’s Bar, Chicago Architecture Foundation, Chicago Botanic Garden, Chicago Pizza Tours, CH Distillery, Eli’s Cheescake, Curtis Linder, Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria, Navy Pier, Pens by Andrew Wigoda, Perfect Light Photography, Rosebud Restaurants, Sprinkles Cupcakes, Wines for Humanity, and many more.  Finally, thank you to the Casino Night 2017 Committee: Co-chairs Lisa Kennedy and Kate Curler along with Michael Driscoll, Elizabeth Peters and CEF Executive Director, Debbie Birrell.
